SIBSPlace, an affiliate of Mount Sinai South Nassau, offers free prevention-based services to children, ages 5-17, coping with a sibling's devastating medical illness, a parent's cancer diagnosis and children coping with the death of a sibling or parent. SIBSPlace started in 2000, but moved to Rockville Centre this year. Services are available to families no matter where their loved one is receiving medical treatment.
